Find Senior Apartments in Michigan

These communities are for adults who want an independent life style while enjoying some or all service benefits. Those benefits may include housekeeping, restaurant style meals, beauty salons and numerous activities.

These apartments have a private entry access and residents come and go as they please. Some apartments may be a tax credit community with rental assistance programs and project based voucher programs to help assist low income persons.

Most of these communities have age limitations of 55 to 62 years.

Who Lives in Senior Apartments?

Some older seniors decide to sell their home and move to an apartment. This frees up any equity that they may have built up in the home and these funds may then be invested to provide additional income. The move to a senior apratment also frees seniors from the many home maintenance chores such as lawn and yard work.

For many, living in a large complex of all seniors affords a greater sense of community and security than living in a private home.

Client Testimonials
"Cindy from Parents Changing Spaces was so helpful to me in deciding on a place for my dad to live.  The fact that her mom is currently in assisted living gives her an expertise that only experience can provide."
